Foundation: The Hong Kong Scots CIC and its incubatee, Scottish Hongkongers

The Hong Kong Scots is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which was Incorporated on 5th April 2022.

The co-founders of The Hong Kong Scots are Hongkongers that left our hometown caused of the worsening situation of human rights. We have started our activities since we re-united in Scotland. 

Our first director, KWOK Tsz-kin Daniel, was a District Councillor in Hong Kong; and most of us were pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong. 

As pro-democracy activists, we have the unwavering spirit to 

Publicise the human rights status of Hong Kong, 
Support asylum seekers from Hong Kong in Scotland,
Connect with people who are persecuted by CCP,

Moreover, as a CIC, our activities would engage Hongkongers residing in Scotland by using Cantonese and Traditional Chinese. To assist Hongkongers to better adapt in Scotland, we host a platform and events for
Improve cultural exchanges between Scots and Hongkongers.
